Updating graphics card drivers (if you have a nvidia card you can do it pretty easily in geforce experience)
Lowering graphics settings - it's possible your game is crashing because your graphics card is running out of VRAM
It's also possible that your save is corrupted somehow, so maybe just try starting a new save and seeing if it still crashes. It's only the 2nd level so it should take like 10 minutes to get back to that point
I hope it was the missing/corrupted file, because let's be real updating the graphics drivers has hardly ever been the solution. But I will do so anyways. And as for the GPU I actually make sure the game uses 99% of it to push as many frames as possible. Since I have a 240hz monitor and I get a nice smooth average of 200 at the time. This shouldn't crash the game unless it's constructed really poorly. A game that utilizes all GPU power is actually a good sign, for example Payday 2 only uses a max of 25-30% and runs like trash even on a modern system.
Soon I will see if the problem comes back when playing with my buddy.
