Report a translation problem
I tried to replicate your problem, but I've had no success.
In Multiplayer, did *you* host the game or did someone else do it?
Do you by chance have anything else that uses the Interact key or the "u" key as a hotkey?
Also what kind of keyboard / keyboard layout do you use? Might be worth checking out.
Worst case scenario you should try to verify the Game Files and see if it fixes the problem.
I had not had anything mapped to U before the post. I belive I did originally but changing all of my prompts off of U did not fix the issue at the time
The real life keyboard i had was a "Razer" keyboard. As for my layout it was mostly similiar except maybe a few changes here and there but if I remember correctly I did not change controls till afterwords.
I'm the multiplayer game, I did multiplayer before single player, the gate just allowed itself to be open so I never had to do gate.exe so idk.
I will attempt to get a video of it and share it if the issue reappears for me
If it's before, then you might want to verify Game Files and make sure your Graphics Drivers are up to date, just to be sure.
In the singleplayer tha gate would not open until i did gate.exe which took me completely resetting my controls to default
In both instance it took me messing with the computer for the game to allow me to the flick the switch and not before doing gate.exe
Do you by chance have the VHS filter enabled in-game?
Did your Player 2 also have problems with accessing Gate.exe?
Also did you have issues similar to this in other games?
At first, yes they did also have the same problem of not being able to access Gate.exe or the computer as a hole but after the restart he was able to.
No, I don't believe I have had a similar issue to a phantom button press or something like that in other games.
(as in, instead of binding "C" and "Mouse 2", you'd bind something like "F" and "M" to either the same controls or different controls)?
If it only happens to you when you have "C" bound to crouch and "Mouse 2" to showing the keycard, then you should probably tell the Developer that through their Discord Server or Twitter, as there might be some weird compatibility issue going on either between the game and you, or the game and the way Keys are bound.
