I assume those matches will never happen again unless they somehow become part of the on-screen product. The last one WWE did was in March 2007 so that's very unlikely. The last game to have it appears to be the games that released in 2005.

Yeah not gonna happen and I'm glad that it doesn't. Those matches were the most stupid ever. Had nothing to do with the wrestling sport and just made women look silly.

Instead, they could just add a gamemode where you play as a backstage helper and you have to dress and undress superstars before they enter the ring. Like, you help Stone Cold Steve Austin take off his jeans, then his shirt, then you put oil on his body and he's ready to open a can of whoop a**.

Unfortunately, 2K wouldn't and couldn't for many "reasons".

But actually, it'd be logical to return this mode because it's like glossing over events with certain wrestlers now associated with a rival company. Also, that's like an ECW game without faithful maturity (e.g., Anarchy Rulz) by essentially removing the additional content. They could've easily pushed boundaries even with the Attitude Era material but have downgraded since WWE '13.

Meanwhile, the WWE has actively humiliated everybody for humor and gains. Before the PG Era, Vince McMahon was responsible for what's essentially The Jerry Springer Show of wrestling. It was filled with nonstop chaos, silliness, and other questionable things for an entire two decades and worked. So clearly, they were having fun with themselves on purpose.

But this match type was nowhere sillier than "I Quit" and tag matches where rivals were swapped (e.g., Hardy Boyz and APA). Also, let's not forget most of the male wrestlers were endlessly fighting in their underwear or being put into compromising situations that exposed more for laughs. In WWE, initially, there weren't any gender discrimination regardless who got it bad at their own expenses.

People have been asking for it back since 2006. WWE doesn't want to include it in their games anymore, as it no longer reflects their product. People will be fine without it.
