Hopefully that'll be something that comes much later on, rather than cater to people that don't enjoy the game for it is and want it to be something different.
I'm looking forward to more story content in the game and things to do as I've explored everywhere so far!
while i understand your opinion, and im sure others agree with it, for those of us who actually are still waiting to enjoy this game for the beautiful envormental possibilities as just relaxing on such a gorgeous beach, for us a peaceful mode cant come soon enough.. plus it shouldnt be to difficult or take long to implement, simply the option to turn off monsters is all thats required, shouldnt be a big deal to add an option button in the menu. Yes i do know it isnt the vision of this game and perhaps the devs are reluctant for this reason, but it is the most requested feature and to succeed this game needs sales, so appealing to as many ppl as possible is the best path to that success. Too many ppl have refunded it already as they just didnt enjoy the combat and want a more relaxing experience. More sales equals more ability to keep working on the game so really then everyone wins ! I log in, play the 1st day, set the fire then just wish i could enjoy the fire as the sun sets and night time comes. The first nite or so the monsters arent a big deal i know, but i never get to enjoy that fire which i really wish i could. Anyway, i likely know the response, that its not what the game is about, and i do get that... but actually it can be both, then everyone wins and they sell more copies !
This annoys me no end tbh.
There is one 'review' with 0.2 hours played saying the game is too hard and they gave it a negative. 0.2 hours is 12 minutes, that's one day and night cycle and they leave a bad review saying the game is too hard?
They never even gave the game a chance.
Same with the majority of the bad reviews that somehow expected the game to be something completely different to what is clearly stated as a challenging game and now the devs feel they have to cater to those people it would seem.
I've nothing against a peaceful mode, but it's not what the game is about, it's not what the game was sold as and I'm hoping the devs don't spend much time on it.
As for just removing the beasts at night for peaceful mode, all that'll most likely happen is people will complain there is nothing to do after a day or two of playing then it'll be something else they're asking for, taking away dev time from the game that was intended.
Im also annoyed with the negative reviews and ppl not giving it a chance... while i'll always want a peaceful mode i do know that was never the intent of the game... i bought it after seeing the gameplay and no way im refunding, i will give it a very positive review once ive played it enough and watch all the Youtube content and sing its praises on all those channels. Im satisified the devs will try to cater to all as they are clearly engaged and of course they want it to succeed more than anyone as it's their "baby" after-all !
We must all combat the negativity with positive reviews, i actually think in time this game will be up there with the best of them, they clearly have some serious talent on the team to be able to create something as beautiful as this...
There is a danger of not having enough to do once monsters removed yes, but maybe not... as i said earlier, i spend countless hours on hitman 3 never even killing anyone, whats missing there is the day/night cycle and a fire by the beach, having to eat/drink, light a fire to cook on, i think is more than enough for the casual player like myself who just wants to wander round the island as more of a "getaway" holiday.... my job is very stressful and very full-on so i do VR to relax at the end of a very hard day... last thing i want is more stress. I do understand your opinion and totally get it, difficulty levels will eventually cater to all but in the meantime a simple "disable all monsters" button in the menu seems the easiest option that should be quick to implement.
Thankyou once again...
