DD2 seems to lack the connection that DD1 allowed, I'm wondering what's supposed to replace that in DD2; it's a different experience, I get that, but what's supposed to be the attraction in DD2?
Some people call this mechanic "Roguelike", but its actually not *LIKE* Rogue at all, since on Rogue when you die, you start over again entirely fresh.
Stagecoach is incredibly boring. I played another game on my phone while waiting for the next area - that's not a good sign.
The animations in battle are cool, but it's not for me. I preferred the 2D art of DD1.
Everything just takes... longer. Removed from wishlist.
It`s not going to be worse after DD2 releases.
However, if DD2 was just DD1 with better technical implementation, people who like what DD2 is now would have nothing. So i`m glad they try some changes, even if it doesn`t make everyone happy who liked DD1.
And who knows, maybe they bring back some mode that is familiar to DD1. Time will tell.
