70$ seems expensive, right?
I thought the gold standard that was agreed upon was 60$ for a new game. And from what players are stating on reddit and steam, the value is just not there. will there be an appropriately priced sale soon?

I mean let's be real here if you have the money to throw is the game fun to mess around? I mean, yeah. Is it the best investment of 70 dollars out there? Not at all.

So whether or not should buy this also boils down to how important that 70 dollars is to you. There are many valid complaints against the game, but it's also your money and based on what you enjoy spending it on depending on how much those things bother you.

its been like maybe 3 or 5 years, since AAA devs said something like "well, making games is "expensive", so you had to pay 70$ now instead of 60".

mostly just greedy activison are setting the high prices. again they spend millions on advertising and on celebrities but they forget to put money back into the game. they are already getting ready to slap a new title from a old cod game.

No game currently or in the past couple of years should be worth $60-$70. They release the games incomplete. They have to patch the game to death to finally get it to be playable by the majority of people that bought it.

Not only is the game released incomplete but now they're trying to do the $70 base game across the industry. I got the game for free from a promo so I can't complain much on the price of this game, lol. It's worth $40 maybe $45, but that's just me. Especially if they price bundles $15+ in the store.

The game itself is actually pretty good. It's just not worth $60-$70.

The game is kind of self defeating, I mean yeah it might be good but also how can I enjoy it when now you can longer play for more than like 20 minutes without it crashing? Tip much further with the stability and the new content is going to stop mattering because of how many people are frustrated and give up when they can't enjoy it.

I have a little over 40 hours in the game and have crashed maybe twice, then I updated my Nvidia driver and all other drivers through Dell. Haven't crashed since, that was about 1-2 hours of game play. On PC it's tricky. What works for one might work for others, just gotta figure out what's happening on your end.

I had zero crashes for the first 70 hours, changed nothing and then it started crashing regularly after season 1 reloaded.

You're not directly wrong, just pointing out it's only partially correct in terms of "figuring out what's happening on your end" because that only works when the issue actually *is* on your end. Yes there are troubleshooting steps etc etc. but that doesn't always work when there is actually an issue introduced with the game affecting certain hardware, if they bork the game there isn't much you can do until they fix whatever is affecting you.

The main issue is that core multiplayer doesn't have enough maps to justify it, so if your interest is core multiplayer then no it's not worth it. If you feel strongly about the campaign and think that's enough to justify it then sure.

Honest opinion I'd say campaign and multiplayer collectively, ~50 bucks is a fair price. However the game isn't stable in it's current state, which throws a bit of an *Your mileage may vary, onto that.

So if you're strapped for cash you shouldn't be spending it on this game, it's a bit like being strapped for cash and going to a casino. Sure there's a good number of slot machines, but are you going to get a good return and actually enjoy it? Eh maybe, but it also might blow up in your face and you might get tired of it quickly. There are cheaper/better games that can give you ~200 hours of solid enjoyment for less money.
Well spoken! Haven't something like this being said on steam in a long time.
