Anyone got a fix for the horrendous FPS stuttering in MW2?
My PC is not having any FPS or stuttering issues whatsoever in other games like Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, God of War etc, just MW2... My specs for reference are GeForce 3080 Ti, AMD Ryzen 9 5950x, 32gb DDR4 4000Mhz.

I've tried Nvidia drivers 522.25, 526.47, and the recent 526.61 hotfix, but no luck. I've also tried a few different settings in the Nvidia Control Panel for MW2 (i.e. Prefer Maximum Performance, Threaded Optimization On etc.), again no luck.

MW2 is unplayable at the moment for me and I'm sure many others. If you've got a fix for this, please shout out. Thanks in advance!

Same
situation here. In my case, I have the 522.25, and have stuttering every 2-3 minutes. However, is playable for me, but these micro stutters are really annoying.

This works for me in most games, I have no stutters in MW2 so hopefully it works for you guys

Go to nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Turn "Shader Cache Size" to Unlimited or 100GB

Still no fix, and not even acknowledged on their trello board! I've had to set everything low and render resolution to 95 plus FOV to sub 105. (on latest NVIDIA drivers)

Still a stuttery mess at times, but at least playable-ish on the latest drivers.

All the 'fixes' that seem to be about are only temporary solutions or seem to be one off cases where it fully solves the individuals problem.

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous PC players have to troubleshoot like this just to get stable FPS without stuttering... Hoping they fix it soon properly so we can just play the damn game lol

9900k. 3080Ti 32gb ram .. same issue.
Framehitching every now and then mostly when going ADS, killfeed popping up or while aiming on an enemy it may hitches for 200 milliseconds. After those hitches the netcode malfunctions for an extra 2-3 seconds not registering anything during that time.
Issue geting worse the more rounds have been played without restarting the game.
Usually it also crashes after 2 hours playtime. Even in lobby when loading the maps it may freezes up to several seconds...
