So why is everyone using controller?

Just came back to this dogs*** of a game after a year and still can't turn off crossplay? n everyone is using controller now even pc??? Am I missing something?

Many CoD players grew up on controller so its their preferred input. Aim assist is ungodly strong in this game though so most pc players adapted to controller to compete against console.

Because they made Aim Assist so strong it's not viable to use a mouse and keyboard. WZ 1 was perfect with the balance of input devices in my opinion. Now you just hold your crosshair on a corner and wait for someone to run around it and hold the trigger.

The game isn't made for good players, aka Try Hards. It's made for the 50 year old dads who want to come home and spam RPGs around to feel good.

I play on PC with mouse and keyboard. I also wish to play without crossplay. Shouldn't be a big thing to implement such a filter and server option.

Controller gets a aimbot, that's why

Every professional CoD player uses controller, cause M+Kb even though far superior to controllers if far inferior when the built in aimbot comes into play

If I used mouse for more than a week I would get carpel tunnel really bad. I tried using it but physically cant. Used to play ROE back in when it came out and gave up 2 weeks in.

a lot of pc players gave up kb+m because they are given legal aimbot on controller

and a lot of pc players don't play anymore for the same reason

Every lobbie since Season 05 started I have been the only KM player. I play around 10 matches every day and have not seen one other KM player for a while now.

And for some reason I have not been able to get more than 15 kills since the start of Season 05. It's like everyone has got super better since the update.

I do not get it. The top players each match have between 28 - 36 kills and I never even come across that many enemies in a match. And I run around the whole map too looking for people.

Plus you need to use a controller for the USB cheating devices , that's another reason for using a controller , when they updated anti cheat like 3 or 4 months ago and banned a lot of people with those usb devices the game was way more playable and without shady tracking aims , now its back again cause they already found how to bypass the anticheat.

went back to mouse and keyboard, they broke aim assist on controller. it's not as good as it used to be.

That can't be the truth mate. Matchmaking prioritizes your input to find other players. Yes there'll be controller players but, you'll not be the only person in the lobby who doesn't use it. This was tested a while ago by a content creator but I don't remember who was it. Feel free to prove me wrong, though.

Even MW3 has absolutely OP aim assist that looks/ plays like aimbot. I’m in top 1% of all players on mouse and keyboard and still have a hard time competing with the inhuman tracking built into the controllers.

They top lobby Gamepad users are mainly cheating. They are mixing the "aim assist" with a "Cronus zen" and thus have no recoil at any range.

The developers are aware of this and refuse to ban them, even if they are caught as so many are cheating it would end the franchise.
