If you wanna uninstall the BO6 Beta/free up space
Go to Properties > Installed Files > click Browse and delete the "mp24" folder.

No, it doesn't get automatically deleted with updates. Same thing happened with MWIII Beta.
NO. The File Manager in the game does nothing and will not get rid of the beta. It's built into COD HQ for some reason.

Thanks a lot it saved like 20-30 gb or something like that i think.
Is there any way we can remove the other 100 gb stuff keep just DMZ ?
Also any way to boot up directly only DMZ and have it log us in with our Activision/Steam, instead of launching Call of Duty HQ every time?

Just remove the DLCs for the gamemodes you're not playing.

And no, there is no way.

Only Warzone is checked. All the other DLCs that are checked are skins bundles
My Call of Duty folder is now like 73.4 GB, too bad we can't keep just the 17-25 gb of DMZ installed and nothing else..
Let's hope they either separate DMZ soon and/or people discover until then some method to log us in MW2 DMZ directly then we can delete all the other bloat-ware and disable updates and put it on Read-Only folders yeap

Are you...sure you don't have any leftovers or other stuff installed? COD HQ without anything installed is like...33ish GBs. It should be around 67.6 GB.

Did you install through Warzone the free2play app on Steam or the old Call of Duty? And yeah i'm sure man there's lots of .xsub files that are 920+ MB size in the main folder idk why.
Like codhq_shared-00004.xsub and map_shared-00004.xsub and stuff.

After the Beta is over, Beta content will be automatically removed during the Season 6 update.
AkiraJkr Sep 10, 2024 @ 3:05am
It won't. The content wasn't removed when MWIII beta was over.

Yes it was.

No it wasn't, I even made a thread on it before because people still had huge install sizes even long after beta was over.

i don't want to insult you but you made me rage , i had to download 60gb all over again.

so i closed steam , moved the "mp24" folder somewhere else , opened steam , verified the game and it start downloading 60gb (that needs 5 days to be finished)
i closed steam again , removed the new created "mp24" folder and moved back my original ,
opened steam & verified the files , but my original "mp24" folder was instantly removed gone forever & replaced by new fresh one 😒
anyway guys , don't make my mistake , make sure you backup your whole game first.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
