Try on gamepass, then buy on Steam...does online progression transfer?
I'm not 100% sure I'll be into the multiplayer long term, but I'd like to check things out via PC gamepass. I'm wondering though if I decide to purchase the full game on Steam, will my online progression transfer over? I can't recall if there is another Activision profile you log into (or something like that) for the online progression.

I also have it on gamepass, when it comes on sale I'll buy it here. I came and entered my ctivision account in the classic way. And I play BO6 under it as well as through steam and battle net. So I think that as soon as you buy on steam and log in with your account, you will have those things. Because it is stored on the server.

Thank you for the confirmation. This is what I was suspecting, I've just been out of the cod ecosystem for too long I wasn't sure how things were handled anymore.

your progress does transfer over; its cross platform. what doesnt transfer are your COD points; anything you buy are device/platform specific

meaning if you buy 1000 COD points on steam they do not show up on xbox, and vice versa
