I just posted the specs. Re read comment I found it.
So your good. You have a 3080 you meet one of the recommended requirements as long as you meet the others.
They aren't going to make their bread and butter only accessible to the top 1% of the PC Master Race (j/k).
If they did there would be hardly anyone on pc and mainly on consoles.
COD has been running on the Quake engine for it's entire life. It is the definition of an assembly line, for the masses game. What in the world would lead someone to wonder if a 3080 might not be enough for the new COD?
I mean we've seen the graphics, it's clearly not some new high level visuals that would make one think it was a new engine or something. What an odd thread/question.
Basically it's someone saying "I make $200k a year, do you guys think I will be able to afford to eat at McDonald's?" Is it a genuine question? Or a disingenuous way to announce you make $200k a year?
Maybe I'm the dummy here, See I'm thinking "if this runs on PS4 and MY hardware blows away a PS4, I won't have trouble running it, obviously."
The other thing one could figure is that literally no COD in it's history has EVER pushed modern hardware so it's unlikely they just magically switch up that formula and make a game that requires the 40 series, thus locking out the vast majority of PC owners, and console owners with anything less than the newest generation. It's be extremely weird that they built an alpha on a PS4 even though the final version wouldn't be playable on the PS4.
idk, maybe I'm just crazy!
Last title beeing properly optimized was MW2019, in MW II they added some wet looks and watertextures and it cut the performance in half even with terrible DLSS blurryness mess enabled.
In MWIII DLC they optimized a little better but still performance isnt great, atleast you can run it without DLSS.
I do own a 3080Ti and play on 1440p, yet to maintain proper framerates a RTX4090 is mandatory, for exactly zero visual gains compared to MW2019…
Can just hope they did something at BO6 to fix that.
