Low ping Disadvantage
Since switching to full fibre internet i get pings of 7-10 never ever more than 15. Also since then i loose every single gun fight. Does COD do some sort of compensation that gives people with higher pings advantages?

have same. The lower my ping in game, the less likely I am to win 1v1 fights

yes but what does that matter if the routing is trash and your isp throttles your connection?

CoD has always had the opposite problem actually, there's no lag compensation of any kind so anyone with a really bad internet connection is going to showcase it in all its unholinesss rather than having anything mitigating it on your end.
That's why jumping around a corner consistently breaks cameras, it costs the receiving party precious ms on reaction time even if everyone involved has good connection.

You should probably complain to your ISP about it, fiber optic connections are 100% consistently objectively better than any other kind of internet so there might be a damaged line or something going on

yes, the government trademark for Activisions SBMM system has sections that specifically pertains to giving health, damage, and speed buffs to players who are detected to be at a disadvantage. welcome to the trash heap that is now COD 2022.

It's just trash servers. The ONLY thing matters - distance to the server.

Im always around 15-20 and am feeling the same
how many times Im already around the corner, sprinting behind the cover and still die.
or when you switch to the riot shield, on my screen its already in front of my face with the animation finished and i still die. just feels terrible, just another advantage they give controller i guess

True but the BT openreach network is very good with routing, its practically a brand new infrastructure network, also im the only one on my street hooked up right now so no contention. Its really good with A+ rating on the online bufferbloat test. But like some others mention in this forum, its made multiplayer COD worse. For me it's laughable, ill literally be shooting someone in the back they jump turn and shoot back, im still fairly locked on them maybe missed some bullets when they jump turned but thats it, but they still get the kill. Literally every kill cam i watch back they are 1mm on their health bar away from dying before they magically kill me.

Glad you posted this. Been driving me nuts since I got on fiber also. COD MW2 games at 4ms or 5ms, I get killed almost instantly. 11ms and still seem at a disadvantage. 20ms and up is normal gamplay. Same with the MW3 Beta last weekend. Serious penalty for being close to the servers I guess (am in Silicon Valley)
