What is the point of Ranked in CoD???

As far as i understand, CoD is a casual shooter with low skill floor. Why do we need another casual pool? I mean, people will play as they used in quick play. So... why bother?

Rank will give rewards. Plus rank will remove certain OP weapons, perks, equipment, kill streaks, etc to make it less annoying to play.

Of COURSE they're still balancing weapons... Did you not read the entire patch notes that stated weapon changes are still coming? However, it's near impossible to completely balance a game with this many weapons, perks, strats, etc. Especially over the course of 1 year before the new CoD comes.

Rank/pro leagues in CoD keeps a closer eye though at the COMPETITIVE side of the game and are faster to find which guns/perks/equipment are just beyond busted that won't get fixed for god knows how long. Hence why they stated they're working with these sides for its ranked mode. Like how the AS VAL in 2019 was definitely banned in competitive/pro play. Same with the M4 back then. Shotguns like the 725, RPGs, riot shield throwing knives etc.

I assume you will be able to solo que like any rank mode/game. However, near the higher ranks it will probably be more desirable to play with friends/people you can synergize with since the ranking changes up slightly.

Ranked probably is just as valuable as the Battlepass, its for those addicted people that arent able to enjoy any game or for those like me, that believe that this game is too bad to be played, if it doesnt have rewards and on top of that, ranked as far as ive seen, is an hilarious cut of content in a game, that doesnt even have content to begin with.

If equipment and guns are cut out, rather than them balancing their éxtremly small game properly, then idk what to say about it. Compared to MW2019 this current title is about 30% of its content and what exists isnt even half the quality of previous title.

I already doubt that i would enjoy a Game like this one, if it doesnt even ship with an amateur level of an Audioengine that atleast consistently outputs footsteps accordingly.
Even those Shooter Noobs at Riot Games have managed that with their first shooter product and yet years late, the CoD Devs cant.

I think this cod wants to expand its potential playerbase with the ranked gamemode. As an ex cs player the thought of going through the ranks all the way to the top is exciting. DMZ is also something new yet opened the game for many casual players as well. Game developers like to copy succesful ideas I guess

But a ranked full of Not aiming aimassist players is No Fun and a Joke cause its only fighting vs bot mechanic and Like playing vs cheater
