Offensive language ban?

So I got a notification saying that I was reported for offensive language, and that further reports or action would result in further action. Can I really be banned for being funnier than other players, and better at ♥♥♥♥ talking? Has anyone actually been banned for "offensive language" or no? How long would it be?

Got such a offensive message aswell, got it in the middle of a match not even typing anything neither do i use voicechat. Who knows... but as this game is right now i honestly couldnt care less. Its not like that game has any value to me apart from causing a sad day and bad memories. In mw2019 i wouldve cared but in this title? Not at all. Already over it and accepted that this was a bad purchase and also waiting for a new game in the meanwhile.

Social features as intended in Call of Duty? Wait what?
I mean thats the crazy part to me, chat and voice has no purpose apart from filling up the gaps in gamefun, it doesnt have ranked for tactical coms etc.. so what would anyone expect from VC in this title 🤔 theres only two kind of customers in VC: trashtalkers and those who didnt mute their mic and breath in it.
Vc is only welcoming in league websites and 3rd party Matchmaking when users are ID Card registered and have sth to challenge them. If ppl are bored and underchallenged by the game well... CoD VC as you know it even without knowing it.
Its confusing to me, it has a mute button and a blocklist, why these systems have been implemented is sth i dont understand. But its clearly ready to be abused because you cant give Gamers any kind of Control, especially not automized systems that work on reports.
World of Warcraft has had many issues with reportspam and highly abusive behaviour, nothing youd drop into a players hand anyways.
We'll see anyways, someone for sure will come up if theres a ban or anything and post it in social media etc..
