Bullet velocity vs Damage range
What is the difference? Don’t they literally mean the same thing just worded differently?

velocity, small bullet can travel to target fast but doesnt mean it hits harder
range means it can travel there keeping its kinetic energy.
No the dmg range is well the range the damage will start to fall off and velocity is how fast it will travel
They should but I guess damage fall off over distance is not related to bullet speed in this game.
bullets exist physically in this game, more bullet velocity speeds these up
guns do less damage the further the enemy, more damage range increases distance for doing higher damage
So a weapon will do full damage up too, lets say, 100m. Once it goes beyond 100m, the damage value will drop by however much by however far or whatever game mechanic is in place. Thats damage range.

How fast or slow your bullet will get too that 100m is velocity. High velocity means the bullet will hit the 100m sooner than a bullet with low velocity.
damage depends on short barrels or long barrels with less and high recoil by the size
bullet velocity is how fast the bullet travel but in cold war bullet velocity is depended on specific attachments like on default it may have 60% velocity but unlocking that attachment
you will get 100% bullet velocity with high damage plus in cold war bullet velocity increases the aim assist too not sure how it does in mw2.
Velocity is how fast your bullet will reach your target. If his bullets are faster his bullets will hit you first if you both fired at the same time.

Range is the fall off of when the damage starts to drop. Lower the range the quicker the drop off in damage the further away the target is.
