Yeah, does look like a DLSS artifact, I have seen this specifically on shiny ''metal'' surfaces even with DLSS on/off/trying all the available ones
ive only got fidelityfx on, and ive tried turning it off and apply, then putting it back on and hitting apply again. doesnt fix it. so this is what artifacts looks like? its good that i know the name of the issue now, i could start trying to do some research aswell as whatever comments come thru on this discussion so we can figure this out and have an answer for the next people who have the same issue
unfortunately demand texture streaming is already turned off when this was happening and when i tried turning off upscaling/sharpening it didnt fix my problem either :/
Got the same dots on guns this way.
ahh yup. i had to turn screen space reflections and shader quality both on "normal" in order for the Gold Camo to not look like a matte color of pee lol. without those 2 settings the gold camo looks like a solid yellow colour with VERY low texture resolution even though my texture resolution and filter is on high. i will try disable screen space reflections now and see if it fixes it, but i assumed that if SSR and fidelity together are causing it, i thought turning fidelityfx off would solve it because they both need eachother turned on to get this problem?
Best I can get is with
graphics>quality>upsacaling/shapening turned off
and
Graphics>quality>Anti Aliasing turned to filmic
