why does everyone sweat this game so hard?

i can compete just fine, but most of the time i have to actually sweat which makes it so unenjoyable
this is mainly why i quit multiplayer fps games, having to sweat to win is just so not fun for me, since when was every multiplayer game full of sweaty tryhards?

I find the people who complain about sweats are usually the ones who use the cheapest/easiest tactics.. Like back on 2019 people running AS VAL + 725 Overkill calling me and my team sweaty 'cuz we're just simply winning our gun fights.

I've also been called sweaty tryhard 'cuz I was defending a bomb on DEFENSE side of SnD. People like to confuse common sense with trying hard. I've been called sweaty for being a FEW levels higher than someone too..

honestly i do pretty good at the game, its just i have to try especially to do it since everyone i come across is always sweating so hard
also when i play, i dont slide, i dont hide prone on staircases, none of that dumb crap ive seen people doing
i just run around with my ironsights m4, and shoot people when they are infront of me
also i dont really bother trash talking in this game, its fun sometimes if the other team is really heated but if they dont say anything i dont either

I'm a noob and i get destroyed, but i still have fun cause im improving slowly. Someday i'll be good as the sweats.

Never heard those complaints in CSGO, RainbowSix, Battlefield etc.

Huh.. reminds me of the good times I spent playing Dead by Daylight. I kinda feel you on the whole spawn killing thing though, I figured they'd fix that sort of thing by now. the last COD game I played before this one was Black ops 2 back in the day on the PS3 and I don't remember spawn killing being this bad.

I'm sure they'll get it fixed somehow, but I doubt it. game is still fun though so I feel pretty "meh" about it. not only that, I'm pretty confident that I'll stop playing this game like the rest of the games that I've bought. still trying to find that "one" game where I'll play for countless hours like the good o'l days. one day...

This “sweating” argument is so stupid. And term prob was started by streamers, who “sweat” as much if not more also having much more h in games

Also how the somebody now if those players even “sweating” and not casually having fun

Okay firstly I'm a little bit confused by this post. From what I read, you're basically complaining that you don't win when you don't really try to. What, you think you deserve a easy w just because you decided you're not really into it today? Also saying how the game is full of sweaty tryhards. To me, the term "sweat" means like we're trying really really hard and putting in max effort, some people have to, but most of the time when i'm top scoring it feels like i'm practically on autopilot since I just have decent gamesense from all my experience with FPS games. Not everyone here is a sweaty tryhard, we just know how to play better and smarter more naturally. It comes with time and practice.

Whats funny is I'll just be casually doing my thing having a blast and hear the occasional rage from some guy on the other team trying his hardest and failing. hurling insults etc.

First of all a forum is for discussion. It is even posted in "general discussion".
It wouldnt be a discussion if people with different opinion just dont say what they think about a topic.

Second, the reason I posted is because people like OP and many others act like there is a general consens about SBMM being bad. There is not.

Third, why should I "go play CSGO, RainbowSix or BF", if I actually dont mind the SBMM in this game and have very little to complaint about this game?
Shouldnt those people who complaint about SBMM and many other things in CoD play something different then? There is absolutly no logic in your answer.
