HWID Banned from Warzone for modding skins on Battlenet app

So I foolishly modded my Kali sticks in Warzone after watching a YouTube tutorial and instantly got hardware ID banned from Warzone on the blizzard app. I wanted to play MW2 with some friends but don't know if it'll work. Anyone know?

Buy it on a new account and test to see if you get banned. Not worth risking your account to see if red text will pop up. Cause I know many people in these forums are HWID banned and the ban does transfer to MWII, yet some of them don't transfer.

So you messed with the file and didn't think you would get banned? Dude this is on you. This game doesn't allow people to mess with the files. There are no mod support or basic texture editing.

If you are hardware banned then you can’t play any cod game. How to test? Create a new account and try playing warzone. If you get a perma ban then you are hardware banned.

What can you do? Buy new hardware/pc if you can’t give up playing COD
