This is on a Ryzen 7 w/ a 3080 10GB and settings on Medium w/ DLSS Quality 1440P.
Absolutely pathetic performance.
I also tried this on PS5 and XBOX Series X and the game looks like it's running @720P.
It's a joke and the devs have no idea how to optimize the game.
before the VRAM usega was like 100%, after i did everything in this video it went down tremendously
This does not work for everyone, stop posting in more than one discussion.
I play console games, so it still pretty ok for me and my eyes doesn't bleed if I see 30 fps in games
System: 5950x, 4090, 64GB RAM, 4.0 NVME SSD.
Target: 120 FPS @ 3440x1440
Result: Stutters every time a new effect happens. Stutters massively running around the world. Stutters seemingly on a timer even standing in the same place. Drops framerate into the 70's. (edit: 50's in the flower field.) Graphics look like an xbox 360 game (seriously, MHW is twice as good looking); had to check what year it released, I couldn't believe it.
Heavily CPU bound, actively using 40-60% cores (12-20). Bound it to non-SMT threads thinking it'd run better, but it started FREEZING for MULTIPLE SECONDS. Friend upgraded to a 7800X3D (from 5800x) and reported significantly reduced stuttering.
Still uses a massive chunk of GPU (~80%). Haven't seen it max out (no upscaling).
Still has visual glitches Wo Long did at release.
This game is actually worse than Stranger of Paradise, which was notorious for its nearly nonexistent optimization and dated graphics.
This engine is terrible, and shoddy work on it makes it even more obvious. Clearly doesn't seem to matter who's publishing the games.
Oh, and still having Denuvo sure doesn't help either. I wonder if that's the cause for a lot of the CPU stuttering.
