I do agree that keeping texture/model detail down helps.
The minimum requirements specify that a 1060 6gb is enough for 1080p 30fps LOWEST settings.
Sure the 2060 has somewhere around double the memory bandwidth but that doesnt change the fact that the framebuffer is the same.
LOL cant even get a steady 60 fps on a 2070 super 8gb vram, 32 gigs of ram. and all the stuff turned completely down or off. not everyone is trying to run the game at those specifications. but koei really ♥♥♥♥ the bed on this one.
FSR Quality, WQHD (1080 > 1440p DSR) mostly High Settings, except Prod. Dense, Ambient Occlusion and Reflections. These Settings are off/low.
Using a RTX 2070 as well (1920 Core Clock) and a 5800x3D Stock. GPU Usage is between 80-100%. Most of the time I have steady 60 Frames dipping to 50 at its worst.
32GB 3200 Mhz CL16 RAM.
im getting steadier frames. i recently bought 2, 2tb m.2's installed fresh windows and i almost get steady 60 when playing by myself
That's all you are seeing here. Lowering texture and model quality will make these one-time per driver update problems faster but will not remove the fact that the devs need to learn how to make a pre-compilation step.
Buddy it runs ♥♥♥♥ even on the most high end systems. I can't even get a stable 30 fps with a 2080super. I'm not asking to play at 4k ultra epic game graphics, not at all. But 1080 on medium? That's asking for too much?
Have you seen the game? It's not terrible looking but it's also not some next gen looking game. It requires WAY too much for what it offers and that's just bad optimization.
i got a rx 6900xt btw, and a r9 3900x cpu m.2 pci-e 4.0 nvme ssd for the game aswell 32gb ram. the only problems my pc face in terms of running games is dogwater console ports by dev's/publisher's who charge full price for an early access sold as finnished.
Those following the cleaning and configuration hints can run the game smooth. But many do not understand, or very often are to stubborn to try the settings (but tell us, they did ... they did not very often).
Yes, the game has it's optimization problems, so it stresses the systems to limit. That could be better, and it's getting better.
May be, in rare cases, nothing helps, and it's hard to detect, where the problems come from.
But regulary, it's running without serious problems.
