Incompatible version of installed on device????
I can launch the game just fine, but my friend gets this "An incompatible version of this game is installed on your device. Uninstall the EA app version to launch" message every time he launches it. It worked fine the other day, so just wanted to check if anyone knew how to fix this before he tries to uninstall/reinstall anything. he would post this himself but he avoids steam forums because of trolls etc.

I've had this issue with dragon age 2 and found this through my google searches. I'm not sure what the issue is exactly but it seems like an error somewhere between steam and the EA app. I went into the game's install folder and ran the .exe from there just fine.

it was origin servers being down in his area
