Is the performance still bad?
I'm seeing lots of mixed results after the latest patch. Was thinking about buying but skeptical.

honestly unless you have an i9 and 4090, performance is going to be terrible. Even with top of the line specs its still pretty unoptimized. To me the game is fun but not worth the summer sale price even if there were no performance issues. $25-30 max

For reference I can run Elden Ring on high 1440p 60fps, meanwhile this game runs like crap. Too bad I'm in the cant-get-refunds suckers club, just like the other commenter said, wait for a deeper sale

Performance is bad but I haven't had any game breaking problems, framedrops and stuttering aside. You could always try it out within 2 hours to see if it works on your machine and refund if it doesn't. Game is great and well worth it when it works.

you are exagerating

Mine is RTX 3070
Intel i7 12700 H
32GB RAM

With DLSS rubs smooth and stable 59 FPS and on heated fight drops to just 55

Stutters happen when loading big chunk of the map. Pretty playable IMO

Now before anyone accuses me of licking EA's boots, no im not defending or denying the bad performance and port and they deserve thr backlash. But you dont need a 5000$ to play it now

Recommended system requirement is i7-8700K with GPU 2070.
if i7 12700 with GPU still drop to 55 fps,
Yes, Performance is still bad

Last I played this, the only problem I had was the snow wolf fight. It would get pretty laggy. I have a mid range PC. GTX 1660. Other than that, I had no performance issues. Of course I am not a eye candy sort of player so I am not maxing out my graphics settings.

Oh, There was a crash problem, that happened once in a while when migrating back to the camp. Hope they fixed that.

What's your resolution and FPS?

1080p, FPS averages between 60+, but sometimes it dips to 45 in some spots.

you're dropping to 55 on your setup which shouldn't be dropping... thats the point of it being horrendously unoptimized. I was able to pull into the 100s on games on a 1080 and i7. YOU should be able too if this game wasn't held up by duct tape.

I have a 3080, 5600x, 32gb ddr4, 1440p at 165hz and I drop to 30's not in fights. The fps is so inconsistent that it is DEEMED bad. Sure i exaggerated the NASA part, but the point is top of the line rigs aren't unanimously pulling a consistent *good* framerate or have smooth frame timings. Thats a huge problem, even now months later. The majority of pc rigs should not be coin toss on who performance is dog sh1t, and whos is mild dog sh1t, and whos tolerable dog sh1t. Also this game LOD pop in is a problem too, if you find all this playable, then thats on you. Not everyone finds terrible performance across the board "playable". The ♥♥♥♥ is just barely chugging along for $70 price point.

look again im not denying or defending them for porting the game like this, they do deserve all the flak they got. I also play Cyberpunk on stable 144 FPS on ultra with DLSS. Again this game is indeed very poorly unoptimized

im only pointing that it is nowhere near the horrid 12 FPS gameplay with nonstop stutter and crash like at launch

yeah its "on me" if I find stable 55-60 FPS with very minor playbale

And again, my point is to tell people that if they want to give it another shot then the performance is not as horrid like it was at launch, as stable 55-60 ( yes again i know with my setup i can play game like this 144 FPS no prob ) with minor stutter and no crash is tolerable for people like "me"

and for the price its on 40% sale, and i never said anything about the price on the first place

You didn't 100% agree with them therefore you triggered them.

So your fault for trying to be reasonable and not exaggerate duhhhhh :steamfacepalm:
