King Tusk can you beat him early in game

Like two hits I'm dead should I level up some more or use gadgets but ran out of resources.

hunter vision will reveal things you can mine for resources if you run out

you can also jump on the kemono and extract threads from the white weakpoint spots

some gadgets definitely help

What? No flexing but he is super easy and doesn´t even do very much besides being very big. His moves are super predictable and the only thing to oneshot you is the big stomp (dont run away-run through his legs) and his charge (use kemono). Most moves are telegraphed before he does them. Just take your time and observ how he moves. This is something you should do on any new monster. Button mashing will get you killed. Observe and find windows of opportunity.

There is really nothing hard about this big boy and he can be beaten without any upgrading. If you struggle with him - no offense at all - you´ll have a very hard time.

All the big boars are very predictable once you learned their moves. The nice thing is you can get away from everything he can do with a simple dodge click. Only exception is his big stomp where he stands on hindlegs, you dodge-slide thru him in this case, problem solved.
Do not go directly underneath, his size means the camera will be full of boar and you cannot really see what he does.
Staying in front (as with so many kemono) is the most challenging since his tusks and snout can do various attacks from which you are 100% safe when at his sides or tail. Safest position with boars is the tail, however then you will not be able to break off head parts of course.

So when you first do him, keep behind. Then when you know his moves, you can do any direction.

I just beat him solo was easy once I learned to go under him.

Don't.
Just grab a bow and you will kill it first try.

Funny enough my very first encounter was king tusk. Game bugged out when I was matching for the rat guy. Put me in a group for king tusk. beat it just fine. Its safer to stay under the dudes belly. When you see him start kicking dirt like a bull put up a bulwark.
