I currently run a parts breaker Nodachi, with those big hits the parts just seem to flow.
Saying as a Gunlance main in MH
Once you learn monster telegraphs and timing, it becomes the most fun weapon to use.
In words of MC Hammer. Can't touch this.
Cannon
Bow
:D
Try the cannon. You'll break all the parts in one laser blast, doesn't matter where you shoot. There's something hilarious about seeing a dreadclaw tail fly off from shooting it in the head. Must be that big ole boom afterwards.
The first time I tried the claw is in a hunt gainst Sporetail. The music in that fight is way more epic than it should be for a fight against a rat variant.

When I managed to latch onto the kemono just as it is changing zones allowing me to fly and land spinning slashes on it continuously, that is when everything clicked for me and Claw Blade became my favourite weapon.
