I do not understand why denuvo is such an issue for people. I haven't had issues with it ever, even on my weaker rigs. And it's in literally everything anyway.

It's mostly the new version of Denuvo (v17?) that seems to have some performance troubles in some games. I never had issues with it either until Elden Ring.

its a bigger issue with cpu's that are just barely enough. someone with a 12-16 core cpu will hardly see a dip in performance, maybe 1-5 fps at most. i found it funny how they mentioned that dlss will make up for denuvo's performance loss but yet they didnt even optimize the game at all, dlss wont save the day here.

elden ring doesnt have denuvo lol, the issues that game has is from texture streaming, that issue is almost non existent if you translate the directx api to vulkan like how they play the game on linux/proton. its hilarous that the game runs better on linux when it was designed to run on windows.
