Straight up quick fix for people having fps issues (NVIDIA Cards)
1>)On you windows,Go too NVIDIA Control Panel(Small Icon in task bar called NVIDIA settings.
2>)Go to Manage 3D settings and add in Wild Hearts
3 >) In these setting TURN ON Power management Mode Put this too Prefer Maximum Performance.
4>)Next Turn OFF Threaded Optimisation (Important one)
5>) Apply These and launch game and see what you get with your settings in game.

This fixed my issue and i am getting over 60fps in areas (Due to having a 2070 card)
Hope this helps people with this game until patch has dropped.

None of the front page bandaid fixes related to the sound stuff helped me much. This fix you shared however single handedly fixed the game for me, I was minutes from refunding.

THANK YOU

My Pleasure I am glad this can help you with actually playing this game, cause it's not a bad game just looks like bit of an over site from devs or time restraints made them unable to get a optimisation patch out quick enough.

I love you.

THANK YOU

Coming back to report more detail.

Before this fix I had the other fixes applied. Like Upscaling + triple buffering in Nvidia Control Panel.

I left Triple Buffering forced; but turned upscaling OFF again. That combination plus your specific tweaks I'm running at 60 fps capped (for safety lol) and it's like an entirely different game. Clear picture, stable frames, I am elated.

Yea i get issues with it at times with these setting but it's much better than what people were getting. Hopefully soon there will be a fix, with some Knowledge into the game development world i would say this seems to be,Three issue audio could be causing some massive issues due to some file corruption error, or there is to much foliage density in the environments and it overloading the CPU & GPU DATA,final one is the refraction or lighting density is causing issue due this currently being new tech in the dev world .

Just did some digging in the files and even though we are at the point to run direct12 this game only uses it with out and dlss or any form of up scaling that would benefit the fps issue. That could be another issue.

I read somewhere while scouring reddit and these discussion posts that the team has stated they were doing to add DLSS. I hope thats in their planned "fix" coming soon. No mention of FSR that I can recall though

Wild Hearts is no option to be added. even when i uncheck the option "only installed" i cannot find it.

Is there an AMD equivalent? with the 7.1 sound im up to 50fps but changing gfx settings doesn't do much and cpu usage is 50%
TheMagicalBacon Feb 17, 2023 @ 12:31pm
I will have to do some digging to find out some fixes for AMD cards and how there control panels work,I am guessing there will be.And that’s not a bad shout making a video to help people find there way around the complex tech side of things.
