Can't get the game to work crashes on launch

After the launch loading bar finishes, the game just crashes, anyone have a similar issue or have found a fix?

Turing off VPN fixed the issue, just turn it back on after. I also tried fixes I listed below

Update gpu drivers
Downloading the latest Visual C++ for my system bitrate
Verifying game files
Going on the EA App settings -> Help -> App recovery
Then restarting PC
Setting the application to run on the gpu specifically

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME, IT MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU.

Try turning off VPN when launching, worked for me.

I don't use vpn and the same thing happens to me

you need to use the EA app.

not steam or origin.

this will be fixed in the patch next week but for now use the EA app on your pc (takes some time to set up such as logging in and such but will work once you got that down)

I bought the game and ea membership on Steam and even if you launch it from the EA app it will start Steam.
I have tried everything and nothing, there are a few with the same error as me that cannot be solved either

while i have nothing else to sadly give as it stands there is the sad possibility that you may have to wait till next week when they release the update to fix the game and its many performance issues

WHICH SUCKS ASS but honestly it seems all we can do...

Well I'll list all the solutions I attempted, maybe it was compounded a few of them.

Turn off vpn
Update gpu drivers
Downloading the latest Visual C++ for my system bitrate
Verifying game files
Going on the EA App settings -> Help -> App recovery
Then restarting PC

after many hopeless solutions like windows updated, graphiccard driver, ea app cache clear, avg set game and ea app to trusty, open as administrator, nothing helps...
then just to like have fun: open the config to look what windows say about compatibility modes: windows want to try "Windows 8"-Mode... i use win10 wtf... and this bloody hell runs -.-
has the ea app forgot that we use windows 10 ???

Find the exe file then right click -> Properties -> compatibility

the only thing you did not mention is, turn off, better delete onedrive cloud for windows users
try it without onedrive syncing your documents, because your documents get protected by that and the game seems to have trouble creating the folder in the documents area with onedrive active.

please someone test this and tell us. i refunded the game after 3 hours of trying. when i heard about onedrive game was already gone

is this for WildHearts only, or works this for other EA games also? cause my solution of compatibility windows 8 mode helps also with my other problems i had with the EA app.
