is there any sort of map or minimap?

I am disabled (juvenile huntingtons disease) and one of my symptoms is I am terrible with directions. So I often use the minimap or maps in games or trials if there is any like in hogwarts legacy to guide me to my location.

Does this game have anything like that? I just started playing and not seeing anything on screen but not sure if it is unlocked later on.

Its has a map and a compass with icons at the top of the screen. No mini map though.

If you know what you're hunting. The hunter vision gives a trail that leads you to your main objective if you've found it already. As in identified which is the big monster you gotta fight
