Out of curiosity, if you're not a troll, why are you posting here in such a toxic way? Yeah if you look at the forum it's already known to be having issues and some of those things you mentioned. Do you just enjoy trying to make people feel bad instead of having mature conversations? In that case why should anyone care what you have to say? im sorry but what in my original post comes across as toxic? i can see the soundtrack comment coming across as harsh, but not toxic. As i said in the original post i find the game fun and i liked the character creator, but it does not excuse the quality of the rest of the product.

if you are saying my replies are toxic, please look at the people that i'm replying to, none wanted to argue a point on a civilized matter, so i did the same, call me petty if you will.

and why am i here if these things are known issues? this is a discussion forum, anyone is allowed to talk about the product on its respective forum, does it suck that the majority of the discourse is negative, well yeah, but that's because the game that people were looking forward to is not the quality product that we hoped

i actually heard that you have to either fully close the client from the task manager then launch the game, or just uninstall it completely and let the game re install it for you (didn't happend to me, but have been seen a lot of people with the same issue)

EA can't be bothered to fix their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ app if their company depended on it.

I'll actually apologize, sorry, when I read your first post it really came off as another one of the many troll posts on here because it had in my opinion a more aggressive tone and the 360 graphic comparison. (Some people were saying it had ps2 graphics and just assumed).

But I can see it's more just a frustrated post. Kind of what I'd be like if I wasn't trying to be more calm about things. (I swear toxic trolls make me questions everything some days lol. )

The why you're here was with the idea that I thought you were being toxic. I'm completely for discussion and again shot the gun on my opinion. (I get annoyed by people posting here just for the sake up annoying/hurting people. Being bullies and nothing to actually do with the game.)

Also with the responses you got. I think a bunch of people are getting frustrated with the trend of games and trolls and like I did. React aggressively.

that's okay, and i really appreciate the apology. I do see how the 360 era graphics comment comes across as toxic or hyperbolic.But i do want to stand by it being something i believe, i have being playing a lot of xbox 360 games on the xenia emulator lately and games like gears of war 3 and red dead 1 have a very similar texture quality to this game.

Thought this does not apply to the character textures which look rather great, which is one of the reasons why i liked the character creator a lot lol.

Also i do see how it can get exhausting having so much negativity all the time on the forums, though i feel like that has being every game release in the past few years, with how "great" pc ports have been lately.

And thank you, while it sucks since was looking forward to this game for quite a while, i do have a few other games that i'm still enjoying> And hopefully you have a great time once this game comes out.

Funny the Graphics of Monster Hunter: World and especially the switch-port MH:Rise are worse and people still buy them.
Not only that, Monster Hunter is a DLC Nightmare...

Wild Hearts is more like a solo open world game, while MH is hub based and have small limited maps due to (portable) console restrictions.

I played MHW a lot and liked it (but didn't buy any DLC). I am also playing Wild Hearts right now.

that is valid, though a few things to mention are that world is a 2018 game and it is debatable if its graphics quality is worse than this game, rise as you said is a switch game (with a pc port) next gen graphics are not something people expected from a switch port.

the main issue here is that they are selling a game advertised as dedicated pc port in 2023 with graphics that compare to either a switch game or a 2018 release, and is being sold for $70 while also having performance issues.

also the bit about dlcs i do agree ♥♥♥♥ capcom, but then again this is EA, there are already armor sets locked behind the deluxe edition, i wouldn't put it past them to add more dlc armor sets like MW
