I think they locked it to keep people playing. They should just add more gear and cosmetics in general and more mounts.
and i would assume it ties into the cladding stuff
the grind for just visual costume make no real sens
Yeah but they promised lots of free content soon so hopefully its worth the wait
Yeah we already will have some new stuff coming in march so the road map already looks promising. It also not like the game is lacking content when it took me 75+hrs to reach end game and that was JUST using the nodachi and no other weapons.
Most MH games had pretty barebones endgame until the expansions came out so I'm not too worried about that as of now.
Yep. I reached "endgame" and quit because of it. I wont farm 50+ volatile kemonos for a single cladding item. ♥♥♥♥ that.
That is atrocious lol...It probably doesn't matter because at the end of the day most monsters can kill you in 3-4 hits anyway.
The sad thing is that spamming traps / harpoons is kinda meta now. You can kill volatile / deeply volatile without taking any damage consistantly that way. So you have to fight 50+ monsters (lets say you want an akikure orb orb for a transmog piece, so you can choose between 3 different enemies) without any real danger or challenge. Either that, or ignore traps / harpoons, what renders slower weapons completely useles duo to the erratic movements of later kemonos.
and make transmoging ez.
Thats why its locked to endgame, the idea is that you will feel its worth it when you pay 20 dollars for a skin instead of endless grinding.
ea sucks...
idk how easy it is to mod a game that is tied to EA's launcher. I tried to mod jedi fallen order and they made me reset my password due to suspicious activity. All I did was mod it with mando armor and a voice changer but that isn't okay in a single player game according to them..
1: You cannot pick the specific kemono you want to hunt.
2: It requires orbs which are NOT confirmed drops.
3: Because of this even if you do find the monster you want to hunt, there's a chance you won't get the orb you need.
That's why people say you need to kill 50+ kemono. It's quite accurate. You're killing kemono you don't even want to fight just so you can reroll for a CHANCE at the kemono you DO want to farm.
