Stronger equipment is not what makes a game more fun, or would you have fun killing a kemono in 2-3 hits?
So you want to kill the same kamono 30-50 times for some poor appearance?
game released 12 days ago. you got 80 hours ingame. That is at least 6h a day. Seems like you need a job and a life instead of more endgame.
Sure, we need more gear for endgame and looking at the roadmap, these things are already in development. However, endgame should not only be defined by stats but also other creative things like more complex basebuilding for example. I also dont really want the game to become Monster Hunter but rather its own thing.
Your post is basically adressing something the devs have already stated, that they are working on it.
I´d say give us new monsters, new Biomes, new weapons and probably some more armors basing on the new monsters but stronger weapons on existing monsters wouldnt make any sense since it would just get easier and easier to kill the same monsters ... to be clear I play through EA since I dont like to run 2 launchers for one game ...
The chances that we will get new stuff isnt that bad, it just needs time :D
so.. 4 new monsters.. not really. 4 monsters currently in game are getting a reskin LOL
Since the end game best in slot armor though looks terrible together, having a bit of a grind for fashion isn't the worst thing, at least there is something to achieve, something to work towards. Lots of games release without even that.
Plus, end game fights, that Deathstalker people are mentioning in particular, are so defense heavy that end game weapons deal about the same amount of damage as not. So working towards making a weapon that is an element weakness is the key, since elements aren't affected by defense. So for that Deathstalker specifically, try making a weapon that exploits it's weakness with the highest damage, base damage doesn't matter. Let me know if that helps with the fight.
Still waiting on that optimization patch though, would love to play this game with the looks it should have instead of everything on low with massive frame drops and slow motion despite only 50% of my system being used. I think that is more pressing than the literal massive amounts of content you guys seem to be expecting after two weeks. More areas? More monsters? More weapons? Come on guys, try to enjoy what we currently have for at least a bit, demanding more of everything before we even get the optimization patch is absurd.
Let's all continue to have fun slaying monsters.
And thts how I knew their community was trash. Havent returned since.
They do provide good entertainment with their pro vs noob series though.(when it's not claptrap level humour, that is)
As for the end game... yeah it's inexistent but MHusually needs G/master rank expansion to come out too before we can talk about end-game. If that's the road, they are also going for, then concider this an apetizer.
