Framepacing/FPS Limit/Vsync guide (tldr: Special K)

So the internal VSync, FPS Limiter, and Framepacing are garbage like every other Omega Force game on PC.
Disable it all in-game.
Use Special K to Force Vsync on if you want it.
Use Special to set the frame limiter to your monitor's native refresh rate.

Voila, stuttering and juttering are gone. Nothing I can do about the stupid 30fps cutscene lock, but this makes the framepacing more consistent so it looks better.

Not relevant but this on a spanking new Ryzen 7950x 64GB RTX 4090 build, so I suppose your mileage may vary.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, you may have to manually add the game to Special K Injection Frontend's library (right-click->Add Game).

Also it's completely possible that EA will ♥♥♥♥ this launch up even more and somehow decide to ban you for using Special K as it is technically a "foreign" injected program. Use at your own risk.

EDIT 2: Been using it daily, no ban issues. Seen people straight using infinite health and stamina cheats in multiplayer, so I really wouldn't worry about any bans unless they announce and anticheat or something.

So let me get this right, to run a brand new multi platform game on PC, you have to use 3rd party programs and run on a god tier rig, even though the recommend machine from the developers is nothing special.

Yeah I'm not here to defend the state of the game, just trying to help out potential fellow hunters.

I suppose it's possible, no idea what kind of anti-cheat (if any) is involved. You are injecting a "foreign" DLL though; so if they don't explicitly whitelist things like Special K, the risk is definitely there. Monster Hunter never gave a ♥♥♥♥, but that's no indication of how EA will play it.

I guess I'll have to put in some hours in the multiplayer and risk my account to even find out. I will edit and add a warning out of an abundance of caution.

I'm not getting at you, and the modding community always tends to fix what devs do not.

There is NO DEFENCE for releasing a $90 game (as retail, not alpha , beta or early access) in such a piss poor state. I don't know how as a society we are happy with "awww, give them a chance, they might fix the issues"

They chose to release this in the state it is . . . as much as I really wanted this game to succeed, they just made that task infinitely harder for themselves.

If You're afraid of getting banned, You may also use FPS cap or force vsync in nVidia Control Panel instead of using any additional apps. In my case it improved framepacing significantly.

you wouldn't get banned for this, i know of people using cheat engine in the game and no bans as of yet. this game has no anti cheat.

I've been using it without any issues, I wouldn't worry about it. Friends use it as well. Also disable TAA to get rid of that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blurring during movement. FXAA kinda sucks, but it's better than nothing.

this year s a disaster for gaming, at least from my perspective.
i have to use process lasso software for to run FF7 Remake for ex. and thats a square enix game. one of the top dogs of biz.
