Oni does the same damage, but are WAY faster. Of course, in Toukiden 2 you have evasion skill and Demon Hand, but already in Rise they add the Wirebug.
Because I was talking about Toukiden 2..... Moron, this guy is comparing Wild Hearts to MH, you're the dribbler who decided to start talking about a third game.
Also extreme difficulty alone doesn't automatically make a game better.
The Monster is weak but dealt alot of damage
not to mention the control of Monster Hunter is simple
2) No, was better because had more mechanics, not because was harder. Your statement implied that he said that liked Toukiden more because of the difficulty. I'm saying is literally a better game overall if you care more about the pure gameplay aspect.
While Monster Hunter, since was not build based specifically only handheld console, had better hit feedback and "hunting", the pure gameplay\moveset\mechanics etc..., all that was always superior in Toukiden. Just to remind you, they did the "semi-open world" before welp - MH World. One of the major feature that MH stole.
Sadly never became big on the west, so people don't really know Toukiden that well. But with focusing on PC and next gen and EA marketing, I think is gonna do well in the west as well, so yeah, gonna be a major competitor.
Who prefer the more "hunting" type of game is gonna stick with MH. Who prefer a more fast paced action type of game, is gonna love this game more than the Capcom title.
If it's publish by other publisher like Microsft, Sony, Capcom, I might instant buy it.
However it might bring more players to Monster Hunter as a result and maybe even prompt capcom for more improvement because it's technically competition.
So even with a high probablility this will turn out ♥♥♥♥♥, I think it could have a positive effect on Monster Hunter and it's genre. Maybe even more dev's/publisher going to pick up this genre as a result.
