Egyptian placenames
The placenames will be in their original Egyptian form, which I like. However the Greek-derived names, such as Thebes, is often more fumiliar from books and media-world.

Would it be possible to get a visual-aide in this respect? Say when you hower over "Waset" with the mouse, a small transparent popup would appear with the text "Thebes".

In the Wrath of Sparta downloadable campaign for Rome II, when you click on a settlement, a giant Britannica excerpt appears, explaining what that settlement is, its brief history, some lore. Pharaoh might feature something similar.

Text info pop ups are really useful in game, not just for place names but game play mechanics or immersive detailing etc, but are time consuming to do and localisation can present some problems.

I really liked those lore boxes in Wrath of Sparta it gave every settlement a unique something instead of just another capture point along the way to victory and they taught me alot about greek history.
Seeing this feature returne to Pharaoh would be awesome indeed.

I got thinking about this, anyone seen something like this in-game, in one of the let's plays etc.?

In the campaign overview on tw live channel, didn't see anything even though I kept an eye out for it

Bump. Thought this might be useful for the devs and because some have expressed similar ideas in other threads. :)
