I haven't done too much investigating into this game, but I'm a big fan of the original. What sort of changes were made besides enhanced graphics?

I checked the DEIdetected website and this game isn't on there. Not yet anyway. Has anyone played this or seen anything sus?

I just want to be sure the game isn't infected with The Message before I spend my money. One can never be too careful these days. Just the word "retold" gives me a bad feeling, it harkens to the whole modern audience problem.

The game has a closed beta this weekend which is free to record/stream, so you should find plenty of footage when searching on YT and Twitch.

Thanks, I'm sure more will come to light over the weekend in that case.

Also, I'm not looking to make fun of anyone. I'm just looking to be an informed consumer. I would not want to give my money to people that actively hate me.

On a woke scale of 1-10 I would put it around a 3. There are some changes that have been made that you can tell are for political reasons but overall the spirit of the game feels unchanged. I only got a few hours in the beta so far so if people find stuff feel free to share it

I noticed how some unit icons that used to be one male person are now two-person icons, with both a male and a female person. That's slightly less readable, but then just a little nuisance
