theres a setting to make combat super easy im assimung it increases dodge window and damage done but its mostly hack and slash with a couple moves you have to dodge when they're red
This game has the ability to tweak almost every aspect of the combat difficulty (and even the option to skip a combat altogether at the press of a button.)
I understand now why they put the option to skip the fights, they know it needs work.
Yeah, the cooldowns got me. The first time I died it, besides just me being low thanks to environmental damage, I had a few bugs on me and the guys that jump forward, and one that shoots arrows. My skills were seemingly locked in cooldown so all I could do was jump attack, which lasted for a bit but not long enough. :(
And the camera thing is a whole other issue as well. I really, truly, wish they'd stop taking control of the camera in and out of combat. I try to avoid unraveling the mobs or using the heal bulb because I keep getting nailed right after, or with the healing bulb during use.
Early game enemies feel spongy, but once you unlock Crouton, you can get through most fights quickly by being strategic about which enemies you possess.
Thankfully for the studio, the story is good enough, without that I would have alerady uninstall it.
Everything else about the the game really good, especially audio and visually it is amazing.
