Sniper rifle is going to be fixed in tomorrows update as now it doesn't give damage from far distance. However I would like ot ask you about what do you mean that the optic doesn't work?
I just saw your review. We are a really small team and during development we tested it as much as we could. As you can see I'm doing my best. You posted your bug 2:30 AM at night in my country and I answered after few minutes. Now almost 4 AM and I'm typing this reply.
You mentioned that 2 hotfixes is a bad thing after the release, I would say the other way, we are trying our best to fix all the issues as fast as possible.
Creating such complex game with a lot of different mechanics and vehicles are not hundred, but thousands of bugs. We fixed almost all of them on the release, however some bugs with such complicated build that we have can occur in very random situations. We are now doing hotfixes and listen to the feedback and community.
To be honest I just checked the build and I don't have this issue with the optic. I will be from tomorrows morning checking it with our devs and try to fix that as soon as possible.
I also saw you mentioned story of the game. We have cooparated with great Senior Narrative Designer that wrote story for Shadow Warrior 3 and Evil West. Not to spoil anything, there is an interesting ending.
Not sure what was your expectations, but it's an indie FPS for low price, shouldn't be compared to big FPS games. We are just a few people and trying to do everything we can right now to fix the issues that people are reporting to us on their hardwares. To summarise, we will be tomorrow doing a bigger update. We will continue supporting the game polishing it and fixing all the issues.
If you could consider changing your review it would mean a world to me, as for such a small devs this is "to be or not ot be". Thank you :)
We will look for the reproduction on one of the hardwares, we'll be fixed soon.
Guys huge request, could you join Discord https://discord.gg/Vh7VqAQJce and post a video on #bugs-report? We can't find the reproduction on our side. We want to fix it, but don't really know what to look for.
Thank you, we played with the sniper a lot and didn't found the bug. Could you describe how the bugged looked like? Or maybe on what level you had it?
I just want to back the Devs up here. Game dev is hard. No meaningfully complex game has ever released 100% bug free. Back in the days when ah were a lad and games were printed on CDs (okay, cartridges and cassettes, yes, I'm that old), what you got was what you got and that was it, until patches and updates became a thing.
And finally to address 'you should have checked this in testing'

Provides a nice range of answers to this question.
So, yes, I think the bar of expectations for indie devs may be a little bit high.
Based on how responsive the Devs are, I'd say I'm actually pretty happy with how things are going with this game so far, but worry a little about burnout and exhaustion for them!
Hi, can you please show screenshot on Discord in #bugs-report thread? It would help a lot!
