Possible to recuit both Kasumi and Valeria?

They are mutually exclusive and occupy the same star on the tablet. You cannot have both.

Both have different advantages but I prefer Kasumi as she allows you to visit the ninja village and recruit the ninjas there sooner than you could with Valeria.

Kasumi is also a ranged unit in war battles, which in general is (not always) superior to melee units. Valeria's strength in war battles is that she's a cavalry unit, providing more mobility.

Speaking for myself, I'd love to pick Valerie every time, but I usually go with Kasumi just because of the early access to the Ninja village and general usefulness of ranged combat in war battles.

This and the listening crystals are something that I'm dying to see a mod about it =(

I like Kasumi because you can get a special scene with Tir and her at his house which gives some scary insight on his true rune.

They do not occupy the same star, they are the same as they were in S1 which is consistent throughout the main games where any returning character will take the slot they previously had

Tomo is made specifically to be recruitable after choosing either one as she will take the slot of the person you did not pick

As to whether a mod can do this without breaking the game, maybe impossible

Damn. I'd rather have both Valeria AND Kasumi than Tomo.

You can in S1. But not in S2.

I always went with Kasumi in S2 only because her sprite is cute looking.

You could get both on PS1 with a gameshartk and I don't recall it breaking anything. I imagine a mod should be able to do the same thing

Choosing Valeria in SKD 2 also not bad, theres another char star of destiny was actually the same as Valeria and can execute combo attack with Valeria....choices, choices, choices.....Kasumi in SKD 1 the developer did her justice lol
