And a perfectly valid one. Someone will always read a ton into it, and go on a rampage with their opinion about it.
Just ignore that.
As someone who uses AI locally on the regular Stable Diffusion comfy UI ect. It’s pretty amazing tech and the whole idea of stealing art is stupid artists steal from eachother all the time, in the forms of styles, and concepts and that’s what AI generates as well.
If you’ve ever even try training your own dataset and making a LoRa you’d know.
Be more informed.
devs are allowed to use ai related things as long as its strictly trained by their own content or completely free to use content, n not stolen content
so you wont have to worry about the games here on steam mischievously using ai to generate content or art
To be a pinch of salt.. The point I suspect of the original author is not ' AI is bad an gonna kill my babies '.. its .. ' were people not hired.. or fired.. because they had some basic AI replace their work '.. Most developers are trash.. the army of support staff who work like dogs putting their all into what they make.. should be worried about. We dont need endless mobile trash.. cranked out by mechanical monkey's .. becoming the norm for regular PC games.. Is it a deal breaker for someone like me .. Not in the least.. Long as I am interested in said game.. but knowing.. could affect my choices.. a)dont pick it up in EA.. b)dont pick it up at full price .. etc..
If someone doesn't want to support a game because of this then that is their right, if someone else wants to play it because they don't care that is their right, throwing verbal jabs at each other over someone's choice to play or not play a game is just weird on either side.
