I cannot make vibrant ink, I can only buy it because the recipe ask me to use a normal ink to make it.

I cannot make vibrant ink, I can only buy it because the recipe ask me to use a normal ink to make it and I don't think there is a way to make normal ink.
So I usually buy it but it's expensive, anybody found a way to fix this?

Alchemical ink is made at the same crafting station as vibrant ink.

Mortar use it to make pigment by crushing two plants.
Use pigment + glass to make ink at mortar.
Profit?

Alchemical ink doesn't work in the recipe to make vibrant ink, hence my statement we can make vibrant ink since it ask you for a generic "ink"

It 100% does. you need 12 ink (alchemical ink) to make 12 vibrant.

no it's 12 alchemical ink to make 12 vibrant ink. You get the same amount back, but you can't make less than 12.

I meant you need 12 of it in bag to make 1 craft recipe craft vibrant ink so you can craft vibrant ink using recipe (you will get 12 vibrant ink)

you also use the stuff that enemy mobs drop. dunno the name but it looks like dark/red glue/gum
