The game got trashed on every platform it's on. Nobody "review bombed" it. The game sucks.
I'd like to see a statement from the developers about why they chose to make it online only, even for single player. I have a feeling it's an anti-piracy measure but that's just a guess.
For clarity, I play online with friends and the issue doesn't affect me but I do understand why other people would be upset about it.
Once we get past the diaper baby reviews, the game will start going positive.
Then I must be the 25%?
Thumb down because the character models and faces look ugyl beside a beautiful graphic in the landscape. Worst thing are the 3rd person animation in combat or by cutting down trees and so on. Thin arms and legs, which seem boneless. Awkward shake around without coordination. No really combat hit feadback.
An umbrella who takes 33% of the left screen in 1st person combat and blocks the view. If you or npc walk with a twohander in front of you, you look like a mix of gorilla and hunchback? Sorry, in current status of the animation and face model, it is not playable for a player with minimum demands on aesthetics.
funny how you just keep being on here then.
Every youtuber basically said "its too much of a survival crafting survival crafter game, why cant i just run around, never craft anything and get legendary gear"
aka they want skyrim, this aint skyrim. deal with it.
Game's stable, worlds are beautiful, it's an interesting concept. I like it better today than yesterday but it may need some simplifying, particularly with crafting to be compatible with the new generation of gamers. We're in a couple days, bit early to pull the plug.
I firmly believe that if you don't own the game you should only be on one guest subforum for a game and if you haven't played 25+ hours you don't get to review. That would shake out a lot of the crap. It still wouldn't be perfect but it would be more reasonable.
I don't thing the game does itself any favors letting streamers in early. Their pants are generally on fire and it's all about clicks, not the game. They have no skin in the game and bad reviews like most bad stuff gets more eyes. They don't want to play the genre, just put in their 1.4 hours and done. As for upping their game, that's what EA is for, making the game better. You can be a part of the process or a part of the foolishness, your choice.
Giving people that that are trolling and do not even own the game any attention at all is giving them what they want and wasting your time.
Ignore them enough and they get bored and move on to the next forum community for another game to do it all over again.
Year, just review bombed
Brilliant. Tell it like it is.
