time and games move on to the next gen same as a lot of games come out on unreal engine 5
sorry to say but its time to get your self at least a second hand 1080 or a 2080 they are pretty cheap
if you dont have money you can always do commissions online or be a reseller or so
where there is a will there is a option
Also the games not out, and the specs can change.
OP: 16GB ram isn't much--I don't build win 10 systems for people with any less than 16GB.
In terms of a graphics card, the 1050 isn't likely gonna cut it either. You'd be much better off with just a used 1060 6GB card, or if you can find a used 2070 super, that'd be even better, and both can be found used pretty reasonably.
Too much? The consoles have those kinds of specs now. These specs are pretty standard for a gaming computer. Also, 16gb of RAM is very affordable these days. So are decent cpu.
Not really - it is a modern game. a 1050 and 8GB of RAM just is not current anymore. You are very unlikely to be able to run any good modern games with that kind of a set up.
It is a bit like expecting to run PS5 games on a PS3.....
Now while games like Nightingale are not currently planned to release on Console it is still important for them to keep this generation in mind while making their game. Most games are developed with high end in mind and then they use different techniques to lower the requirements for said game. (I.E cyberpunk 2077, hogwarts legacy ps4/xbox releases.)
Lastly as the gaming generations change so do the tools used in making games, allowing more possibilities for developers along with allowing them to create things not possible before. I know allot of people tend to overly focus on graphics and often forget that systems and capabilities of the systems in games change as well. (i.e AI systems, Animation complexity, Environment Complexity etc)
Hope this info helps.
I remember just 5 years ago ppl would swear by that.
I have 32gb and its very often not enough, ESPECIALLY when you host your own dedicated server off the same machine you're gaming on.
64 would be the new norm imo if you play a lot of games that need dedi servers ran, (With a fair amount of extra content loaded, who freaking hosts a vanilla server these days, dumb) and I can guarantee you Nightingale will be one of those. Just like Rust, conan exiles, valheim, etc.
I'll be damned if I host a dedi server and limited to like 5 mods because I skimped for 32gb ram, let alone 16.
Like people said man, games gota move forward. So does your HW.
You don't expect to play Horizon FW on a ps3 do you? Aint happening man.
100gb space required AND it has to be an SSD?
I do wish the devs luck with fixing that poor optimization so it wouldn't need those band-aid solutions of high space requirements
hope this game flops so y'all have to swallow that chill pill.
the devs gotta fix the game to address more players.
if this project is a niche, it will fail.
