Here we are getting a game without a grind fest and a flat rate, and all you get is negativity from broke ass kids. In any other game, they'll lament on and on about the woes of Battlepasses.
I bet the Tekken 8 players would absolutely kill for this deal right now..
and a $20 game with new content
there is a reason the game was dead and just repacking it and selling it with peer to peer and single player against bots isn't gonna suddenly make everything better. 4k players pretty much says it all, now it fades into nothing and if it keeps the price it will only sell on 80% sale to people who can get a group together to actually play like most other multiplayer only games that are pay to play, most multiplayer only games discovered through the discovery que for cards are on my ignore list, all the recent reviews game is dead, dead game, dont bother the game is dead ect ect, so multiplayer only games for me are on the instant ignore list
Imagine NOT spending the money and criticizing those who do.
I've gotten more hours out of games that cost less than $30 than I have out of games at retail price of $60/70. $16 I'd easily get 100 hours out of because I know exactly what Gigantic is already. Who cares if they shut it down beyond that? I got MORE than my money's worth and I actually put in more than $16 when this game was F2P. I dunno how you calculate the value of a game where you're from but I think everyone's getting a fair deal here. You pay $16 and you enjoy it while it lasts. Should I be pissed off that PS3 games are no longer playable online in 2024? I paid $60 for those too AND I had to pay a subscription fee just to even play MP later. Less than two decades ago Overwatch 1 was a paid release. Imagine my surprise finding the sequel is a repackaged first game and was made free. Which one of these is the bigger rip off? Or what about The Sims 4 that was a full-priced game at release and is now free because you can "optionally" pay over a thousand dollars for all the DLC? Get this, even if you bought all the DLC, the game runs like absolute sh!te with all that content-- And that game wasn't even multiplayer! Competitive multiplayer games have been in a state of disarray and greed for a very long time. I find it incredibly difficult to compare any game today with Gigantic. Keep in mind, there's a release-day discount and everyone's acting like it's on par with Tekken, any EA Sports game or even Overwatch 2. I really don't even understand the disappointment from people who didn't play the original. It seems like most of the people who did play the original are the ones buying it anyways. So what are you mad about? You have over 1,500 games, the majority of hours you put into free games, you played HALO INFINITE, but THIS is where you draw the line: A game that is 100% upfront about what's being offered and requires no additional paywall? OP is correct, you're begging to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over. It's sad.
So it sounds to me like you don't necessarily understand this topic as much as you think you do. I guess "gramps" had to come teach you something..
