Bug Reporting

Hey everyone, please feel free to drop any bugs in here so we can address stuff ASAP. If you have a bug happening on platforms other than Steam, please make sure to call that out so we can get to the issue as quickly as possible.

Edit: Please include your PC specs alongside your bug so we can determine next steps

Edit: 12/20 - Hotfix 1 Update is now live. This should address the vast majority of issues reported in this thread so far. Thank you all for your assistance and patience.

PS5 - I think the dreams/cookies might be bugged (at least on PS5).

I was able to recruit the robot lady, gave her the first item and got the first dream and a cookie. Since then I've collected 3 more items that say similar things about sensing an energy, but returning to the robot lady does not do anything (she always says the same thing) and I can't unlock any more dreams.

The audio in the opening cutscene is a little bit crackly and stuttering a bit. Also, some of the text boxes don't match up fully with some of the dialogue

There should be a total of 4 cookies you can obtain from the Althea, there is a bug where she still shows inventory as if you could buy more and we are currently working on fixing it as soon as possible.

Can you post your PC specs here and try updating your GPU drivers if you haven't already? That has had some people recover from frequent crashes so far.

Is this on PC or PS5? And yeah, unfortunately we had to edit the text but haven't been able to re-record voice lines in tutorial area to match. That one's on our list but not super high compared to other items we need to address first.

Thats a new one for me - are you on PC? if so can you post your pc specs

The cutscene audio is incredibly loud and seemingly ignores any audio decreases set in the Options menu.

I'm just at the first screen, but if I open the Start menu and move to one of the other tabs, the Start button stops opening the menu. Also, when quitting, the UI says we have to hold the A button to quit, but just pressing it exits the game.

I've tried this on PC with both a Dualsense (native and through Steam UI) and a Steam Controller, and also on the Steam Deck.

Also, on the Steam Deck, the Select Button doesn't work as intended. We need to press it twice in quick succession to open the menu. I tried changing it to jump to check if it was an issue with the physical button and it was working normally.

Is there supposed to be sound in combat? Playing on Steam and the intro was fully voiced but after I got to the point where I can explore the starting area there is no music and nothing has audio feedback. Attacking doesn't have any sounds either.

Also would really appreciate a subtitle option for the cutscenes.
