How do you defeat......?
Soon after the double jump, there is a big horned enemy ( singular ) in a room and he wipes me out in about 7 seconds.

How do you kill him?

Yeah he's a jumpscare of a boss, first time i went in the room, i was rushing a bit and he spawned on top of me and wiped me out in a blink lolz, uh, parry works fine, you can bait his main attack for an easy parry since his flying attack is a bit harder to parry but not impossible. I found it faster than just fighting him normally, i died a few times before i got the timing right tho'.

But yeah, you die really fast in the game, you can't really experiment a lot in some bosses or enemies cause of how much damage you get, then there's the flying tv in the waste level where he's so easy that its boring.

I did it.

I kind of just kept double jumping over him ( and dashing ) and getting in a flurry of attacks when I could. :)

Those were the D-Heads for me. I'm a beginner at this type of game, so i don't know how tough they are for the more experienced players, but the Macer especially can do a hundred damage with his wind-up swing, and the Shooter seems very adept at disrupting most attacks with weaponry with quick shots.
I left them for a while to explore the Crystal caves and some other areas, where i finished Bakasura with parries alone. He much more managable, in contrast.
In any case, from that i upgraded a number of weapons upgrades, components, energy cells etc. to face off against the D-Heads again.
The most viable strategy for me seemed to be chasing after the Shooter to actually prevent him *from* shooting and downing his health with the Void Bullet, which allowed some breathing room for using weapons. some of the Macer's attacks can seemingly coincide *very* well with the Shooter's at time.
Was a mad rush for me to try and deal with even one of them. On one hand it felt like cheesing it, but on the other... i *guess* it's making the most of what you have.

I kind of liked Autechre. Probably helps that, like i said, i'm a beginner. Probably died around 7 times to him. Don't know if he could be pushed into the lasers for extra damage.

well... hit 4 times... dodge... then... hit 4 times dodge... then... hit 4 times dodge...

but when you get the slingshot.... Slingshot the hell out of him. Youll fight him several times afterwards... but youll be really powerfull.

just to bring another perspective, i never hit that enemy a single time over the dozens of times i fought him. just parried him twice, which gives you the insta-kill prompt. (you'll need to parry four times if you haven't equipped the component that doubles your parry damage)

No way in hell is parry reliable, no way no how.
