i hope they don't win "the game is on" award from the weekly planet (iykyk)
If that is the case, and this is the true ending, we might need some changes to the end game pacing to indicate the final fight is actually the final fight. Personally, I felt like every boss needed a placard, name in a cool way. The way the boss fights just start is jarring and felt out of place (personal opinion of course). Please please show us Garbanzo's mech blowing up and him falling out of it before prompted to stomp him. Have Cherry drag him out and kick him in the nuts first, falls to the ground then offer the ACTION BUTTON stomp. Make us feel like we're finishing this, maybe some dialog after the fight too? Or a second phase...?
Legit loved the game but ugh that ending really hurt.
She accomplished the goal she set on for this game.
They put down some groundwork to build off of if they want to do more.
But if this is their equivalent of the the killer getting back up at the end of the horror movie and a question mark appearing next to "The End" I'm fine with that too.
I hope they will release a DLC to unlock them. If not, I don't undersand why they integrated them in the first place...
