It's not the best choiceee... it's Spacer's Choice!
Disclaimer: yes, the rumours where true; one of our marketing people has been "let go" after the release of this new version of the game, but no worries because his close ones have been notified of his unfortunate passing... and it wasn't at least me, so... woeeee. So, all good and everyone is just happy-happy-happy. So, please buy our products again, please, we desperately need the moneeeey."
We did a thorough honest marketing analysis and found out that this was the best path of action... for us. And why so soon again after the previous release? Uhm... at least be happy we still support this game you ungrateful little bra.... oh sorry. Uhm, I have to stay friendly right. So, please buy; we need to milk this license for as long as we still have it and once Obsidian releases the sequel with Microsoft, we know no one will care anymore, so we have to release it now. Buy it now, our shiny new actual improved "The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition - Remastered Definitive Edition a la Director's Cut".
Disclaimer: Private Division only allocated little budget for this new edition. Especially funding for the QA-department is lacking. Damn it, just like last time. Our sincerest apologies in advance for all the bugs and performance issues this new version will have and we are already working on post-launch patches. But think happy, you know, lens flares and slow-motion shots and all. Go to your happy place. The game will release next week btw."
To be serious; this is just mocking what I do, don't take it too seriously, especially the devs (Virtuos) as the game now seems to be in a quite good state. Most critique is definitely pointed at the publisher.
