Lenovo Legion Go random crashing
I'm playing this game on the Legion Go and having a great time. However, the game will crash to desktop randomly in all manners (randomly while moving, opening map, shooting, running, etc). No fixed pattern or frequency as to when the crash will appear. I have finished Emerald Vale and just reached Groundbreaker. The crashes seem to happen very frequently now at Groundbreaker. This is particularly frustrating because I'm playing on Supernova Difficulty for the achievement and the game can only save on The Unreliable and sometimes autosave far and between.

I've tried:

1. Turn off Screen Space Global Illumination (the number one reason that causes crashes on AMD GPU).
2. reducing the resolution to 800p, or trying different resolutions (1200p; 1000p).
3. Set all graphic settings to low or off.
4. Use Fullscreen, windowed fullscreen, windowed.
5. reset AMD Shader cache
6. verify installation file.
7. trying different VRAM size (auto, 3GB, 4GB, 6GB).
8. Use or not using Lossless Scaling
9. Set all graphic settings to off (default) in AMD Adrenaline software
10. Using the latest official AMD driver from Lenovo.
11. Use or not using MSI Afterburner + RTSS

Any suggestions to help with the crashing is welcomed.

p/s I also played the game on my desktop (i9 10900k, RTX3080, 16GB DDR4, 1TB M2 SSD). all graphic settings maxed out. no crashing whatsoever. smooth gameplay. But I can only play this at home. When I'm on the go, I'm hoping the Legion Go will help me to continue with the game. My Windows 11 is a clean install and I do not install any bloatware and I minimize app installation (other than essential apps) on it to improve performance. I have finished a couple of games on the Legion Go without any issue (God of war, Life is strange True Colors, Yakuza 6, Wolfenstein 2). This is the first game that I encountered issues.

Only advice - use "Supernova patch" found on nexus, that allows to save anywhere.
To minimize frustration. :cwat:

Mine was crashing horrible until I changed the screen refresh rate (Right legion button) to 60hz instead of 144hz.
i habe the same Problem with my legion go. tried everything that you tried and also set the screen to 60hz.
Same issue.

I dont know what I did, but it went away soon after I posted this. After that, I clocked in 85 hours into the game, never had a single crash. I also used lossless scaling at the same time to get better frame rate. It is also possible that only the beginning few areas that causes the crashing? I'm not entirely sure. But I did apply the "supernova patch" that allows saving the game at anytime while playing supernova difficulty. Since then, I've been spamming the save button every once in a while just to be safe, in case it crashes. hope it helps!
