Difference between The Outer Worlds 2019 and the 2023 remastered version Spacer's Choice Edition
So I am very confused as the title suggests in the version of 2019 there are a lot of positive reviews but on the remastered version and I am not talking about the upgrade version but the standalone game there are very negative reviews also another difference I noticed is that on the 2019 version there are 67 achievements if I recall correctly and the remastered one there are 60, how so and why ? And seriously is there any difference between the two ? And why are there two versions in the first place since there is an upgrade for the 2019 also why the negative reviews on the remastered version ?
Thank you in advance

Huh? I'm a bit confused as you didn't post any links but there is only 1 base game. There are 2 different bundles you can get besides the base game but they both have the same stuff pretty much including the same base game and the 2 expansions. Just that 1 has the soundtrack and that happens to be cheaper for some odd reason? There is no hd remaster, the game has not been out long enough to warrant that other than from modding. Game has the same number of achievements no matter what you get, just that if you don't get the dlc you can't unlock those.

The only real difference between Spacer's Choice Edition and the original release + DLCs are a graphical revamp and increased level cap. I think at launch there were a lot of performance issues but it's been running great for me, and some people don't like some visual changes (Monarch is problematic) hence the mixed reviews.

If you own the original + both DLCs, you get a discount on Spacer's Choice edition.

This discussion thread is actually posted on the remaster's forums! Spacer's Choice Edition isn't merely a complete bundle, but an actual overhaul of the game's graphics, and supposedly introduces a dynamic weather system? You're right that the game hasn't been out long enough to warrant this treatment, but they still did it.

In other words, Spacer's Choice isn't a bundle like Skyrim Legendary Edition, it's an upgrade like Skyrim Special Edition. Even gets a separate library entry.
