Constant crashes.
I9 13900k
RTX 4080
32GB of ram

The game is constantly crashing much of the time after killing an enemy but will occur sometimes just walking around and exploring. Completely vanilla game so zero mods.

Things I tried.

Verifying game files.

Reinstalling.

Turned off Steam overlay

Turned on Vsync just in case the engine has issues at 200+ fps. and limited it to 144 instead.

Turned off all graphics settings down to low and optional settings were causing it.

Running as administrator.

None of these things have provided any results if anyone knows how to resolve this I would greatly appreciate it.

Running in fullscreen and fresh driver install after removing with DDU solved my crashing.

I've also edited the TdrDelay registry to 32 (50 decimal) in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers but it did not help before the DDU wipe.

Check the system logs in the windowns event viewer to make sure that it's the nvidia driver crashing before bothering with all that.

Are your graphics card drivers and motherboard up to date?

It appears that changing the game from fullscreen windowed to normal full screen fixed the crashing issue.
